This album was recorded over a few nights and days in August 2009, on a property in Liberty NY that was once a summer camp for young Jewish boys looking to escape the cloying smog of the city and its sprawl. Liberty Sessions is dedicated to them, and anyone else who considers basketball courts, wading pools, barbecues, and bonfires to be the hallmarks of summers past.
